Debby JohnsonDebby joined the club in November 2004. She found us through a brit-bike website in Australia which had a link to this site. In her own words: "I have a '71 750 Roadster that I bought in March off ebay. It's a nice looking bike but has some mechanical issues I'm trying to sort through. I'm not new to Nortons; I used to own a '73 850 Roadster. I sold that bike about 20 years ago and always regretted not keeping it. My dad bought the bike new in 1973 then gave it to me a couple of years later when he got the itch for something newer. I live in Longmont and earn my living sitting in front of a computer all day doing website development. Tinkering with the bike is a fun diversion from my day job although it can be pretty frustrating at times too." Since then she completely restored her Norton (on which she is seen below, at Tim Johnson's cabin in Dillon) and became so involved in the club that we made her Vice President. She's won the President's Award (Opposite Gender Division) two years running. Contact: (303) 229-2089 or das9999@yahoo.com |
