Doug has been a major player in the movement to bring Norton Commandos kicking and dripping into the 21st century. With Matt Rambow, he established Colorado Norton Works and he's now moved on to set up his own shop (Doug's Nortons) to produce Commandos with enough tweaking and fiddling to be reliable roadburners. Doug also sponsors a yearly Norton rally in Dolores, the Four Corners Rally. Doug is seen below with one of his Doug's Nortons bikes.
