Steve Harris

Steve lives in Durango, so we usually only see him a couple times a year. He's a regular at Cotopaxi. He has a large collection of Nortons and parts and builds some very interesting machines, such as the "featherlastic"—a featherbed frame with Commando isolastics installed. Here Steve is seen at the Hahn's Peak camping trip, north of Steamboat Springs. He's repairing his Commando after it sucked a rubber manifold gasket through the engine. I was right behind him when the mushroom cloud appeared and feared the worst, but Ernie had a spare gasket and Steve rode it home.
