Google Earth View of Echo Basin Ranch

The link below points to a special file, called a ".kmz" file, that is used by the free application Google Earth to display geographical information on a background of satellite imagery. Depending on how your web browser is configured, and perhaps which web browser you are using, one of three things will happen when you click the link:

  1. Google Earth will launch and "fly" to the Echo Basin Ranch.
  2. Your web browser will download the .kmz file to your computer, probably as a zipped archive. Use whatever utility you normally use to unzip an archive and open the resulting .kmz file. If Google Earth is installed on your computer, it will launch and "fly" to Echo Basin Ranch. This behavior, while not so satisfying, is actually safer because automatically launching unknown files on your computer through a web browser is a very popular infection vector for malware.
  3. You will get an error message because Google Earth is not installed on your computer. You can obtain Google Earth here.

If something else happens, I'd be glad to know about it!
